Boils Symptoms

Boils can be painful and very distinct; however there are times when you aren’t really sure whether what you have on your skin is a boil. If it is early and the infection for the boil has not spread out, then you may not be able to see the puss or the head yet. There are ways to tell if you have a boil or not. Watch out for the presence of the following symptoms to help you determine if you have a boil or not.

Among the first things that you will notice when you have a boil is redness. This can occur even before the skin erupts or any bumps can be seen. The area where the boil is growing will most likely be red. Not just any type of redness but something that will indicate an irritation or an infection within the skin. Along with the redness you may notice tenderness in the skin when touched as well. At this stage you can already try and get rid of your boil with something like BoilX to prevent it from getting worse.

Palpating the area where redness and swelling occur, you may be able to find the presence of a small nodule; though it may not be visible to the eye just yet. This will feel like a moderately hard, round and abnormal growth beneath your skin. When this nodule erupts it will be the same location where you will find the next symptom which is pus cells. Pus is the substance produced by the body when bacterial infections occur within it. This substance may be whitish- yellow to green in color. Its consistency may be somewhat thick but still flowing. The skin may eventually break letting out the pus.

You will also notice that you may have swollen lymph nodes in the area close to where the boil is. These are part of the lymphatic system and work with the immune system. Swollen lymph nodes are a sign of infection. This is usually present in cases where the boils and the infections are more severe. In the same way that swollen lymph nodes are a sign of infection, so is fever. You may experience running a fever as well if the infection that the boil brings is too much.

While boils and its symptoms can be painful there are solutions to help you get rid of them and bring you relief. Over the counter medication, antibiotics and even homeopathic medicine can all help eliminate your boils and its symptoms. To learn more about this visit http://www.boilx.com today.
